We are seeking an experienced Electrician to carry out work within the day to day, reactive repairs team in both residents' homes and communal areas in London.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out reactive repair work in our residents' homes and communal areas.
- Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with Electricity at Work Regulations and BS 7671 18th Edition
- Testing and certifying work carried out in accordance with current IET Wiring Regulations.
- Where necessary, ensure Health & Safety working practices which are essential to ensure the safety of both tenants and operatives, are always implemented.
- Be responsible for safeguarding test instruments and other equipment issued.
- Safeguard, maintain, replenish, and keep records of electrical materials issued for van stock
- Using a PDA to receive instructions, and to feedback electronically details of works undertaken, or works to be undertaken.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations
- City & Guilds 2382-22 18th Edition
- City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
