We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join a leading housing provider, delivering high-quality repairs, refurbishment, and maintenance services for local authorities and housing associations. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in social housing properties, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards. Responsibilities:

  • Conducting fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of electrical installations, systems, equipment, and components.
  • Performing inspections, servicing, and planned preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all installation, repair, servicing, and testing activities.
  • Working independently or collaboratively to complete maintenance and repair tasks efficiently.
  • Using an electronic hand-held system to manage and prioritise workloads, ensuring timely completion of repairs.
  • Communicating effectively with tenants to minimise disruption while coordinating and executing maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (Buildings, Structures and the Environment) (2357-13)
  • Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018
  • Level 3 Award in Initial Verification of Electrical Installations (2391-50)
  • Level 3 Award in Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations (2391-51)
  • Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations (2391-52)
  • AM2
