This is a key role for a time-served Electrician looking to join a leading manufacturer and supplier of concrete and aggregate products. You will be working within the engineering team at our site in Hulland Ward. About the role You will form part of the engineering team covering the entire site. Your day to day responsibilities will include the planned and reactive maintenance of electrically driven machinery. Other duties include: Maintaining machinery producing concrete products; operating automated block making equipment completing remedial actions identified during external electrical inspections Carrying out scheduled tasks detailed in ESMS Maintaining standards and pre-determined productivity, housekeeping and maintenance regimes Ensuring site is fully stocked of electrical spares and equipment and identifying any changes in availability of critical spares Carrying out preventative maintenance tasks and other supporting work required to comply with the company Management Systems Updating the Electrical Safety Management System (ESMS) Maintaining product quality standards, identifying and reacting to all non-conformances Ensuring supplementary support tasks and duties are complete on time Carrying out emergency response when required as per local training What will you bring? Time served electrical apprenticeship 18th Edition wiring regulations City and Guilds 2382 qualified would be an advantage Good understanding of process controls and PLC's Inspection and testing City and guilds 2391would be an advantage Ability to work well on own or part of a team Flexible approach to working hours IT Skills What can we offer you?
