Responsibilities include: Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings Working confidently with DC and AC circuits, inverters, isolators, and fault finding Using remote monitoring systems, data loggers, and apps Ensuring compliance with health & safety protocols, RAMS, UK building regulations, and DNO requirements Reporting unsafe or non-compliant installations Carrying out a full range of electrical works safely and correctly Travelling regionally (or nationally where required) with travel time included in working hours Being flexible for occasional overtime or weekend work What We Need From You Recognised Electrical apprenticeship and/or full electrical qualifications (Essential) 18th Edition I.EE certification (Essential) MCS Accreditation knowledge or experience (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) Solar PV qualifications (one of the following): City & Guilds 2399 - Solar Photovoltaic Installation LCL Awards Level 3 Award in Solar PV Systems BPEC Solar PV Installer Course ECS Gold Card (or willingness to obtain before start date) Knowledge of PAS 2030, G98/G99 regulations, and retrofit/funded work (preferred) Previous experience in solar PV or renewables (training available) Full UK driving licence (under 7 points) Own full set of tools A genuine passion for sustainability and innovation
