Electrician/Tester, Experience with thermography and/or Ultrasound desirable.
Covering Essex and North East London
£35,000 - £40,000 (Health, Pension, Daily travel allowance (around £6.40 but taxable), small phone subsidy, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays)
Our client is currently looking for an electrician/tester with experience of commercial installations, possibly with some thermography and/or Ultrasound experience and that is looking to take the next step in the electrical/testing industry. Please note that there is room for progression within the company and previous experience of working in the maintenance industry would be desirable. Our client is very specialised and has an element of business and personal risk so a methodical approach is essential. Flexibility is also key as most of our client's work is out of hours but paid at overtime rates.
Duties
Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install electrical
systems and related equipment as assigned.
Assume day-to-day coordination of specific agreements or DES work, as assigned, to assure contractual commitments are met in a timely, cost effective manner
Adhere to a planned call schedule.
Complete a Service Report prior to leaving the jobsite.
Handle interruptions in stride.
Have the proper tools, materials, computerized maintenance scheduling, and scheduled tasking upon arrival at the jobsite.
Plan and assure material are on the job at the right time.
Effectively manage and control equipment, material/tool utilization and costs while ensuring that field duties and responsibilities are carried out efficiently.
