Protocol is working with one of the best Further Education colleges in the country who are also a leading apprenticeship provider. Based in Cambridgeshire, our client has some of the best facilities in the country such as industry-standard workshops, studios and salons. Students enjoy their studies here, thanks to inspirational teachers and excellent course options. With around 700 staff, 3,500 full-time students and 4,500 apprentices, the campus atmosphere is always busy and vibrant. You will find a modern teaching environment with lots of energy and interaction. Graded as 'Good' with some outstanding features by Ofsted, a fantastic 95% of students go on to further education or employment.
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity to join them on a permanent basis as an Employability Trainer starting immediately.
Role responsibilities
Deliver consistently good or better teaching sessions on employability
Design, develop and maintain teaching resources to ensure the best experience for the learners.
Maintain safe working practices and a safe environment for the learners
The person & qualifications
Maths and English qualifications to GCSE grade C or equivalent
PTLLS qualification or other relevant teacher training
Previous experience of working within the employability sector
Experience of training others in non-traditional teaching environments
