Employers Agent / Project Manager job in Beckenham, Kent for an established multidisciplinary consultancy. The role offers a salary range of £30,000 - £70,000 dependent on your level of seniority. Our client is happy to consider as Assistant Employers Agent up to Associate Employers Agent level. You will be working on new build residential and some education and commercial projects.
The consultancy provides a multitude of services including architecture, building surveying, cost consultancy and project management, their main focus is on new build residential, but they also work on commercial and education projects. The 115-strong team is based over 3 offices in London and South East. Now owned by an 8000-strong international leading consultancy, they offer great progression and development opportunities for the right candidate.
Role & Responsibilities
- Employer's Agent / Project Management / Client Representative duties
- Deliver projects to completion on time, within budget and to the agreed quality standards
- Liaising with clients on technical matters, programme and alternative procurement methods
- Take full responsibility for technical, contract and cost matters for your projects
- Reviewing projects for compliance and completing the relevant proformas
- Risk analysis and risk management of individual projects
- Managing site and project meetings
- Review and constructively comment on design drawings for all types of new build properties
- Understand your projects fee structures and work within targets set for projects
- Identify variances and advise Partner of potential fee variance
- Supporting / working with the Partner in invoicing and cash flow projections on your projects.
Required Skills & Experience
- Must have construction Employers Agent / Project Management experience from consultancy or from Housing Association / Local Authority / client side
- Ideally MRICS / MCIOB or working towards
- Full life-cycle construction project management experience
- New build construction experience
- Contract administration experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
