Title: Enabler Location: Heigham, Norwich Project: Anglian Water Kier are looking for an
Enabler who will be working alongside the Field Performance Manager to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance and repair to the Anglian Water network. Manage the enablement of all jobs raised through the relevant dependency management tools, to ensure compliance with Regulations, reduce aborted visits and increase the teams effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the above to achieve and maximise outperformance and deliver gain share in line with the Business Model
Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure jobs are delivered as per agreed levels of service
Ensure jobs are planned and carried out in accordance with relevant Health and Safety legislation
Liaise with external agencies including Highway Authority to ensure any restrictions are removed or understood
Conduct site meetings with relevant stakeholders (i.e. Network Technicians) before moving jobs to work
Communicate both verbally and in written form to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are kept informed throughout the job
Ensure management of risk by identifying causes of uncertainty and what can go wrong, and then putting in place activities to minimise the adverse impact jobs
Ensure the team follow the appropriate Governance processes and procedures in order to appropriately establish, manage and control jobs
Work with Wholesale Services and IMR Delivery and commercial teams to prioritise workloads in line with relative priorities
Act as key point of contact, working with Operational FLMs around plans/changes/new work requests to minimise last minute disruptions and promote best scheduling practice
Ensure every activity undertaken is approached with a mind set of getting it right first time.
Through effective planning, organisation and communication will ensure every job that gets to site is ready for delivery
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
experience in the utility/ construction environment.
IOSH or NVQ equivalent.
Technical construction knowledge.
Experience working at a supervisory level.
Commercial awareness and experience of managing budgets.
NRSWA accreditation- supervisor's qualification.
Full clean, UK drivers licence.
