Catfoss Recruitment Ltd are currently in partnership with an award winning management services company based in Hertfordshire. Due to continued business growth they are looking to recruit an Energy Account Manager to their expanding team.
Our client is a well-established organisation providing energy management services to Managing Agents, Housing Associations and Developers that covers everything from finding lost meters to resident level billing, Combined Heat & Power (CHP) generation, water and renewables.
This role is for a Heat Network Energy Manager who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients.
Heat Networks are systems that use a communal energy supply (gas or electricity) to generate heat for a number of final customers, typically residing in apartments. Heat meters are used to measure the amount of energy used by each final customer. Our job (as metering and billing agent) is to calculate the costs for these final customers and bill them based on their actual heat consumption.
The basic role of the Energy Manager is to liaise directly with the clients who operate the Heat Networks (typically Managing Agents), carrying out day to day account management tasks.
This role is for someone with previous energy experience. It would suit an experienced energy broker who is up for a new and exciting challenge. Heat Networks are an integral part of the government's plans to meet Net Zero by 2050, with the installation of gas boilers being phased out in new builds by 2025!
Energy Account Manager Responsibilities:
* Act as initial point of contact for a portfolio of clients, via telephone, post and email, ensuring all requirements are acted upon as a priority, with accurate information being provided at all times.
* Keep on top of any leads from new and existing clients.
* Responsible for the mobilisation of new Heat Network developments, getting them set up and to the point that we are ready to start billing final customers
* Provide support and advice to clients on their Heat Networks.
* Act as an interface between the client and internal departments, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
* Actively look for new ways to improve current processes, coming up with suggestions and new ideas.
* Keep on top of recharge tariff renewals
* Ensure metering and billing contracts are renewed as and when required
* Liaise with Operations team on site works projects

* Reporting to: Senior Energy Manager
* Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
