Account Manager

A leading community and stakeholder engagement consultancy are seeking an account manager to join the management team in their London office to help guide and deliver consultation processes on some of the most significant and challenging sites in London.

Consultation projects require a range of strategies. This can range from developing community engagement, stakeholder mapping to developing creative approaches during the designing processes to help ensure that spaces become useful places.

This is a great opportunity for a planner or urban design professional interested in people and designing public spaces into meaning places. As an account manager, you will work on large-scale regeneration and strategic projects within the built environment sector. You will be involved in schemes through the design decision-making process, holding public consultations and events. Additionally, you will manage a team of stakeholder professionals to deliver a mix of consultation and engagement on a diverse range of projects for both public and private sector clients.

What you will do

  • Conduct portfolio management through monitoring resources, strategy and budgeting on large-scale projects
  • Manage client relations
  • into business development
  • creative, innovative consultation approaches
  • Guide senior members in their strategy development and consultation on public communications and events.

About you

  • Background in planning, urban design, architecture, geography and environment.
  • Experience working on medium - large-scale development projects.
  • Have relative experience in engagement and community consultation
  • Know UK planning process, UK property industry and RIBA stages of development
