Engineer Job in Leicestershire
I have an Engineer job with a top 10 housebuilder for their growing regional office in Leicestershire.
As the successful Engineer you'll be joining a growing regional office of a top 10 housebuilder in Leicestershire and part of a technical team of 6. You'll be involved from feasibility through to construction including inhouse design work and at any point there is roughly 10 live developments. The target is to produce 600 units annually in the next 3 years, this will provide plenty of opportunities to progress in your career.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop road and sewer design
- Assist with site appraisals
- Prepare detailed Section 38 and 104 designs
- Prepare drainage design drawings
- Obtain foundation design approvals
- Assemble the civil engineering package
Required Skills & Experience
- Civil engineering degree or similar
- Previous experience with a volume house building, either consultancy or client side
- Knowledge of Section 38, 104 and 278
- Knowledge of: Highway design, sewer adoption, PDS software, Mircodrainage
- Able to produce engineering design
