We're looking for an Engineer to join Kier Construction in the South East, working on a range of projects from education, to commercial, to healthcare. Contract: Fulltime, Permanent

Responsibilities

As an Engineer you will work closely with the Site Management team providing engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries are answered.

Your day to day will include:

  • Setting out works, regularly checking the setting out points and benchmarks, as well as checking that all setting out instruments and measuring equipment are delivered to site with a calibration certificate and recorded accordingly
  • To agree technical standards and methods of construction within delegated authorities and monitor, inspect and record the work
  • To monitor, measure and report on the technical compliance of materials, equipment, products and workmanship.
  • To raise technical queries with design team and supply chain to ensure all necessary information is available in time to meet the construction programme.


Who are we looking for?

This role of an Engineer is great for you if you have:

  • HNC or above in a Civil Engineering related discipline.
  • Setting Out experience as well as Experience and training in temporary works.
  • Experience and training in temporary works.
  • CSCS Card, SMSTS Qualification
