An interim assignment has been created to support the Engineering Function to deliver on a number of machine build projects for a multisite international company.

The assignment needs a seasoned Engineering professional with previous success in complex project management to coordinate the resources to deliver new machines with new clients simultaneously. We need a high-level professional who can analyse root cause for clarity, deep dive on technical issues, to drive the engineering department to the successful execution of projects.

What do you need to be successful in?

Successfully engaging the multidisciplinary engineering functions with controls & metrics, managing capacity and capability, the control of efficient processes and influencing adherence to methodologies.
Delivery of complex project management of external client projects, on time & to budget with effective time management of multifunctional projects team. Achieving simultaneous engineering with tracking to timelines, purchasing, and contractual costs.
Efficient interfacing between design and application teams and daily driving of projects using proven methodologies, keeping senior management and clients updated with on or off track detail.


What experience would you need to be considered?

Hands-on Engineering matrix Leadership of a $100m+ international multisite capital equipment build business


Around 5-10 years of proven technical projects experience within electro-mechanical systems such as machine tools, machining systems or automation projects.


Director Level responsibility with an Engineering based Degree, ideally Chartered.
