Responsibilites
As a Engineering Manager you'll be working within the Major Projects team supporting the Devonport dockyard refurbishment of 10 dock.
Your day to day will include:
- You will undertake the responsibility of Contractor' Engineering Management for complex infrastructure upgrades to Devonport Royal Dockyard.
- You will be responsible for delivering multiple contractors' design packages, reviewing the Clients design for buildability and support the construction team with Temporary Works Design expertise.
- You will support the implementation and monitoring of Performance Excellence as well as undertake competence checks and appointment of engineering roles.
This role of Engineering Manager is great for you if:
- You have proven capability working on complex civils projects or in a comparable setting.
- You will have the ability to demonstrate an appreciation of multi-discipline work, inter-discipline checks and the application of a systems engineering approach and excellent attention to detail is required.
- You will be proactive, enthusiastic, collaborative in your approach and be able to work as part of a team to deliver the objective of the department.
- You will have qualifications (degree level or equivalent) and Chartered Membership of the ICE (or working towards).
