We're looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Infrastructure Major Projects team. Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, Sharesave scheme, family friendly policies and even more.

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Responsibilities

As an Engineering Manger you'll be working within the Major Projects team and will initially be involved in the ECI phase of a major defence sector project.

Your day to day will include:

  • Being responsible for delivering multiple contractors' design packages, reviewing the Clients design for buildability and supporting the construction team with Temporary Works Design expertise.
  • You will support the implementation and monitoring of Performance Excellence as well as undertaking competence checks and appointment of engineering roles.
  • Promote integrated working with other members within the project to create a one-team ethos, including development of team members.
Who are we looking for?

This role of Engineering Manager is great for you if:

  • You have proven capability working on complex civils projects.
  • You will have the ability to demonstrate an appreciation of multi-discipline work, inter-discipline checks and the application of a systems engineering approach and excellent attention to detail is required.
  • You will be proactive, enthusiastic, collaborative in your approach and be able to work as part of a team.
  • You will have qualifications (degree level or equivalent) and Chartered Membership of the ICE (or working towards).
