Engineering Manager Job in Plymouth, Devon
My client has an Engineering Manager Job available in their regional office in Devon. This top 10 housebuilder are looking to build their technical team with multiple positions available including this Engineering Manager requirement.
As the successful Engineering Manager or Senior Engineer, you'll report into the Technical Director for the region which spans across Cornwall and West Devon with office location in Plymouth. You will be tasked with project managing the developments from a below ground aspect as well as overseeing more junior members of the team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate external consultants
- Check drawings produced by Engineers and Architects
- Identify site constraints, design of public highways and drainage systems
- Undertake site inspections
- Work closely with the land team on possible new sites
- Ensure all groundworks and foundations works are designed and managed in the most cost effective way.
Required Skills & Experience
- HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience in volume residential developments
- Knowledge of S104, S38 & S278
- Knowledge of MircoDrainage and SUDS.
