About the Role As the Engineering Manager, you'll take ownership of facility design solutions for allocated work packages, ensuring they meet all business, functional, regulatory, and lifecycle performance requirements. You'll be the principal engineering contact on projects, overseeing everything from design integrity to resource competency, budget planning, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities Serve as the lead engineering representative across allocated projects, ensuring delivery on quality, safety, value, and schedule.

Evaluate and advise on the suitability of engineering requirements and facility designs at each lifecycle phase (tender, construction, commissioning, handover).

Recommend and manage budgets and timelines to deliver designs aligned with business needs.

Oversee internal and external engineering design resources, ensuring team capability and performance.

Lead integrated facility design delivery with appropriate and proportionate safety documentation.

Maintain design intent and configuration from inception through to project completion.

Promote a culture of high standards in safety, security, quality, and environmental responsibility.

Support development of the Facility Design function through change initiatives and skills development.

What You'll Bring Proven experience in engineering design and management within high-integrity or highly regulated environments.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

A commitment to safety, quality, and team collaboration.

Eligibility for UK security clearance (British Citizenship and five years UK residency; ten years for DV clearance. Dual nationals may be considered for some roles.)
