Protocol is recruiting on behalf of Guernsey College of Further Education. The college has over 5,000 enrolments each year and offers a wide range of courses for the Bailiwick community, with over 300 courses on offer there is something for everyone!

Guernsey is situated in the bay of St. Malo, near France's North-West. It is less than 100 miles from England's South coast with direct links with most major airports in the UK and a ferry service from Poole, Portsmouth and Weymouth. You do not have the daily chore of sitting in traffic for hours on end as a typical commute to work is simply a 5-10 minute journey, enabling you to work hard and live life to the full.

Permission has been granted for the college to recruit inwardly to fill professional teaching skills gaps and an exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an English Teacher on a full-time basis starting 27th November 2017-April 2018.

Essential criteria:
*Hold a relevant teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS, CTLLS or PTLLS)
*Have experience delivering and assessing English up to KS4
*Hold a level 3 qualification in English
*An understanding of teaching and learning strategies
*Evidence of recent continuing professional development
*High level of inter-personal and communication skills
*Effective organisational, time management and administrative skills
*Proven ability to work on own initiative
