Environment & Systems Manager Full time Breedon on the Hill, Derby

Breedon is a leading constructions materials group in Great Britain and Ireland, with around 1 billion tonnes of mineral Reserves and Resources. Breedon has a strong growth strategy having significantly expanded in 2020/21 with the acquisition of the Cemex assets, delivering an additional 170 million tonnes.

We are seeking an Environment & Systems Manager to join our team based at Head Office at Breedon on the Hill.

Reporting to the Head of H&S/Environment, the key responsibilities of the role will be:-

  • Reporting of monthly data for H&S, Environment and sustainability.
  • Generating dashboard information for management review.
  • Main top level administrator for software systems used in the department
  • The Environment lead for Breedon GB Materials.
  • Liaising with internal audit manager to maintain compliance databases
  • Developing new software systems as we digitalise our materials.
  • Undertaking projects on behalf of the business
  • Liaison with external enforcing authorities as required.

You will be:

  • Self-motivated, and well organised
  • Part of a close working team
  • Extensive knowledge of Tableau, Sharepoint and Microsoft accounting packages.
  • Strong H&S and Environment background
  • Report writer
