We are currently recruiting for an Environmental Advisor to assist our local business unit to deliver our challenging Building for a Sustainable World strategy, remains compliant with all environmental legislation and to have accountability for the delivery of environmental support and assist in the conformity with Kier environmental management systems.
Key Responsibilities
As an Environmental Advisor you will deliver continual improvement in our environmental performance, providing preconstruction support in tender submissions and assist in the development of environmental plans. You will also identify and evaluate environmental risks and opportunities and support with any required environmental training whilst driving the environmental sustainability strategy into the business.
What do we need from you?
You'll require demonstrable experience working as an Environmental Advisor or similar role and a degree within an Environmental discipline is preferred. You must be an IEMA Practitioner or hold a relevant level of membership from a professional body. You'll also have previous experience of developing documents and procedures that are consistent with ISO 14001 and have a good working knowledge of environmental management systems.
