Environmental Impact Assessment Consultant Job in London
I have an Environmental Impact Assessment Consultant job available with a rapidly growing multi-disciplinary consultancy in their office in London. As the successful EIA Consultant you'll be tasked with working closely with the major infrastructure and environmental planning teams.
This multi-disciplinary consultancy operates across the UK with six regional offices which are situated in the North, East Anglia, London and Essex. Current head count is at 60 but with the growth plans in place and their current workload they are looking to expand the business 80 in the next 12 months. The services this consultancy offer span across Town Planning, Architecture, Masterplanning, Landscape Architecture and Heritage.
Role & Responsibilities
- Managing the EIAs across a range of projects
- Coordinate the preparation of the EIA screening
- Support the team in gaining planning consent
- Liaising with internal teams
- Ensure environmental considerations have been taken into account with design teams
- Monitoring budgets.
Required Skills & Experience
- Background in town planning or environmental planning
- Relevant planning degree
- Previous experience with major infrastructure projects.
