Estates and Maintenance Manager Job in Surrey

Estates and Maintenance Manager job working for an established and highly successful property development and management business. Our client is now looking to speak to candidates with experience in managing residential properties across Surrey and South London. The successful candidate will be instrumental in upholding quality standards. They are offering a salary of up to £65,000 + Company Van.

Our client are a privately owned business developing and managing properties within the residential and commercial sectors. They are now looking for an Estates and Maintenance Manager to oversee a large portfolio of mainly residential properties, which include student accommodation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Liaise closely with the Head of Lettings to efficiently plan and execute both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, minimizing disruption and inconveniences to residents
  • Coordinate with external contractors as needed to ensure timely competition of maintenance tasks
  • Create and establish a comprehensive planned preventative maintenance schedule for all properties included in the portfolio
  • Regularly review and refine the maintenance programme based on favouring practices and emerging technologies
  • Allocate tasks based on skill sets and availability to optimize operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A degree in Construction or Facilities Management is advantageous
  • Track record of previously managing maintenance within the residential property sector
  • IT Literate
  • Full UK Driving License.
