JOB TITLE: Estates Manager

LOCATION: Multi-site- Peterborough and Stamford

SALARY: Up to £38K per annum

QRS are working on behalf of an established Further Education Group within the Peterborough and Stamford area and are currently recruiting for an Estates Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for centralised service contract management and managing external contractors.
  • Maintain awareness of and report on the physical condition of furniture, fittings, electrical items and manage the specification and replacement/repair.
  • Ensure projects and long term maintenance programmes support the ongoing function of the college.
  • Encourage productive team working amongst the maintenance team, administration team and security.
  • Develop and agree the Estates budget and actively monitor income and costs for the area to ensure they are inline with the agreed budget.
  • Manage the long term maintenance schedule to ensure work is planned due to priority, completed on schedule and to budget.

The person & qualifications

  • A Level 3 Electrical/Mechanical qualification is essential.
  • GCSE/Level 2 in English and Maths at grade C or above.
  • Experience in maintenance or facilities management.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety and Fire Management Regulations.
