Estimator Job in the New Forest
I'm currently looking to speak to Estimators with experience in Commercial Fit Out's and refurbishment to join a design and build company in the New Forest.
This design and build company operates across the South East of England including London with Commercial Fit outs and refurbishment projects ranging from £500k - £4m. As the successful candidate you'll have experience in tendering and pitching for new business along with other member of the team as well as the day-to-day duties in the estimating department based from the New Forest office.
Role & Responsibilities
- Producing detailed cost plans
- Seeking the best quotes from suppliers and sub-contractors
- Negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Work closely with the team on tenders and bids
- Meet with clients to understand their technical requirements
- Liaises with finance teams
- Commercial aware, making sure projects are profitable and mitigate risk
Required Skills & Experience
- Ideally 3 - 5 years experience as an Estimator
- Ideally Commercial Fit Out or Commercial Refurbishment experience
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical disciplines
- Good knowledge of JCT contracts
- Knowledge of building regulations
- Driving licence
