Estimator Job in Warrington, Cheshire

I currently have an Estimator job with a regional house builder in Warrington. As the successful Estimator you'll be tasked with assisting in preparation in costs and appraisals for bids on land opportunities from Lancashire down to Staffordshire.

This privately owned regional housebuilder have been established over 100 years, employ over 700 people and have a turnover in excess of £200m. They are now looking for an Estimator to join the commercial and land team from their office in Warrington.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Carry out financial appraisals for land bids
  • Prepare development costs
  • Monitor and manage live costs on land appraisals
  • Maintain accurate spreadsheets and data bases
  • Prepare detailed information packs for meetings
  • Prepare standard rates and budgets for use in estimating.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience with land appraisals
  • Experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor
  • Relevant qualification
  • Strong background in housebuilding
  • Risk aware
  • Good knowledge of groundworks/civils
  • Driving licence.
