Would you like to work for a vibrant expanding company who are becoming a significant force in the Modular Industry?

A leading specialist in modular construction solutions are looking to secure the professional services of an experienced Offsite Construction Estimator.

Working across a diverse range of services, candidates can expect to produce estimates for new build, fit out and refurbishment of Modular projects within commercial, residential, education and infrastructure projects.

For a number of years, this business has exceeded the performance of traditional build with the speed of modular.

You will be involved in:

  • Reviewing and assessing incoming enquiries
  • Identifying specialist services and issuing to supply chain and subcontractors for pricing
  • Compiling take offs from drawings and inputting into Excel based estimating package
  • Assessing potential risks and discussing with other team members
  • Producing accurate costings with profit prediction
  • Compiling full quotation packages
  • Attending client meetings
  • Producing hand over information to other departments including costed work packages for buying and QS departments
  • Compiling offer qualifications ensuring commercial protection of the company and providing a concise offer to our clients
  • Interrogating post project cost information to assess accuracy of estimates
  • Assisting all departments as the business requires


Your required skills:

  • At least 5 years' experience in the construction industry
  • Be an expert user of Excel
  • Fully literate in other Microsoft packages such as Word, Publisher and Outlook
  • Have an understanding of Building Regulations
  • Have the ability to work and pressure and achieve strict deadlines
  • A suitable qualification to HND level
  • Have an adaptable can-do outlook and approach to work



Package:

  • Salary of £40,000 - £50,000
