We are currently looking for an Estimator to be based at our Head Office in Islington. This is a Hybrid role.
Ideally you will have some experience/Knowledge on cladding systems/Facades.
To utilise latest technology to gain a competitive edge on the market, produce an optimum bid success rate, whilst maintaining a client centric mindset.
To be responsible for the full tender process and to be capable of producing accurate cost plans.
The Project:
Landmark Facades is part of the Wider Ardmore Group, and we look after Re-Cladding jobs across London. The projects range from £3m - £30m and we are working with prestigious housing associations and house builders across London.
With a current turnover of around £20m we are aiming to increase this year on year based on a strong order book and current pipeline of works to be undertaken.
Main Responsibilities:
- Tender Preparation and Submission
- Supply Chain Management
- Project Analysis
- Tender Negotiation
- Handovers
- Developing and maintaining cost databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date pricing for materials, equipment, and labour.
- Preparing detailed bid proposals and assisting with the development of project schedules
- Participating in pre-construction meetings with clients, architects, and engineers to discuss project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborating with sub-contractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
- Reviewing and evaluating bid proposals from sub-contractors and suppliers
- Preparing reports to track project costs and progress.
- Assisting with value engineering efforts to identify cost saving opportunities.
- Participating in post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.
We're Looking For:
- BSc in Construction Management or equivalent
- 4 Projects- Basic training
- Chartered member of CIOB or RICS
- Good standard of analytical and mathematical ability
- Negotiation skills and diplomacy
- Presentation skills
