The Company
Renowned main contractor in the UK, working on construction projects from Leisure, accommodation, retail, sport, health, industrial and commercial, offering clients in both the private and public sector a national service delivered locally through regional teams.

The Opportunity
Working within the company's Midlands/ Yorkshire division, working on construction projects that are wide and varied and range from £8m, up to £100m.

Core Skills
As an experienced Estimator, you will be able to demonstrate the following experiences:

  • Proven experienced as an Estimator within construction
  • Review tender documents on receipt and communicate across the business
  • Chair the Bid Launch & progress meetings. Arranging bid settlement meetings in line with procedures
  • Identify tender deliverables
  • Subcontractor - liaison for enquiries and tenders, negotiation and analysis of their tenders
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities & Procure externally when necessary
  • Liaise with / manage Design Team during tender process as necessary
  • Liaise with operations team to identify risks and opportunities, adhering to company QA policies/ standards
  • Liaison with Design, Planning Department and Operations Team - for tenders and on-site cost preparation
  • Tender completion presentations - advising on strategies for Risk, Margin and Opportunity
  • Manage, prepare the transfer of projects from the Bid Team to the Delivery Team
  • Relevant industry qualifications (ideally)
