Key Responsibilities:
Regional Building Strategic Alliances require an Cost Planner?to contribute to the wider team in providing preconstruction cost management and commercial support. You will develop your own cost plans and set targets for projects as well as being involved in the commercial preparations for framework and call-off bids. As Cost Planner, you will positively contribute to the improvement in quality of response for all bids and pre-qualifications as well as collating and analysing cost and commercial data, maintaining accurate records accordingly. You will be an integral member of a successful preconstruction team providing advice to our regional construction businesses and leading commercial discussions with our clients.
What do we need from you?
You will have a Construction related accredited qualification as well as a high competency in using Excel, specifically pivot table experience and experience with measurement software. Background knowledge of NRM is essential and you will ideally have a genuine interest in building techniques and methods and an understanding of the specifications of buildings and cost impacts.
