They require a new estimator to join their expanding commercial team.

Key Responsibilities as an Estimator:

  • Project Assessment: Review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand the scope and requirements of fire protection and safety services.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for fire protection systems, including materials, labour, and equipment.
  • Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability of materials and services.
  • Bid Preparation: Compile and submit comprehensive bids and proposals to clients, ensuring all necessary information is included.
  • Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing project budgets and tracking costs against estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, answer queries, and provide professional advice on fire safety solutions.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to the project management and installation teams.
  • Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, pricing, and new technologies to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all estimates, correspondence, and project documentation for future reference.
