Our client is a leading Fire Engineering and Consultancy Business based in Nottingham, specialising in delivering high-standard Fire Safety and Passive Fire Protection services to top niche clients across various industries, including Construction, Hotels, Sport and Leisure, Housing, Education, Commercial, Manufacturing, and Industrial sectors. They require a new estimator to join their expanding commercial team.

Key Responsibilities as an Estimator:
- Project Assessment: Review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand the scope and requirements of fire protection and safety services.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for fire protection systems, including materials, labour, and equipment.
- Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability of materials and services.
- Bid Preparation: Compile and submit comprehensive bids and proposals to clients, ensuring all necessary information is included.
- Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates and propose mitigation strategies.
- Budget Management: Assist in managing project budgets and tracking costs against estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, answer queries, and provide professional advice on fire safety solutions.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to the project management and installation teams.
- Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, pricing, and new technologies to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all estimates, correspondence, and project documentation for future reference.
