We are working with a a fantastic college in Norwich who are looking for an Exams Assessor to join the Additional Learning Support Team to work proactively with students, aiming to improve retention, attendance and achievement by identifying specific support needs! ! A full time, permanent position, offering an annual salary £26,000 - £29,000 per annum, this college is looking to interview immediately!
Role responsibilities
To assess students who have been identified as requiring exam access arrangements and specific support and to ensure students have their correct entitlement to support in examinations and assessments.
The person & qualifications
Level 7 qualification is Specialist Assessment
Experience of working with/teaching students with identified learning difficulties and or disabilities
Experience of working across teams/multi-agency
Good understanding of FE and HE learning programmes and learner assessment procedures
Good communication skills, both verbal and written quantified with a level 2 in English Literature and Numeracy Level two/ equivalent
IT skills evidenced with knowledge of Word, Excel and Microsoft Access
Knowledge of services available to people with learning difficulties/disabilities
