Position: Financial Controller

Location: Co. Tyrone

Salary: Neg. £50k-£65k (Depending On Experience)

Job Summary

Reporting to the Group Finance Director this is a Senior Finance Role that offers progression in the future for the successful candidate. You will be expected to hit the ground running and bring your experience to help develop and shape the finance team. As well as controlling the Finance function you will have day-to-day responsibility for the development and implementation of solid financial controls to support company growth. You will be responsible for the advancement of an ambitious, progressive and deadline focused team to deliver excellence across all financial areas.

Experience Required:

Accountancy Qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA +4 Years

Experience of Senior Management Experience of analysing and presenting financial budgets/results A focus on implementing continuous process improvement & systems experience essential.

Ability to taking ownership of processes

Financial modelling and analytical experience desirable.

Responsibilities :

People Management: Strong focus on supporting, co-ordinating and developing the Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable and Labour teams including setting of both individual and team KPI's. Ensure that the Teams within the Finance function are aligned and supporting the business objectives and goals

Finance Process / Systems Improvements: Key contributor to the development of Finance ERP system and financial reporting tools for the finance team.

Financial Control & Cashflow Management: Monitor cashflow balances and forecasts ensuring working capital is available to fund operational and capital requirements, manage Working Capital and improve processes around cash flow forecasting and monitoring.

Monthly Reporting: Responsible for the timely and accurate compilation of monthly consolidated accounts and in accordance with the issued timetable that provide commentary, variance analysis and insight. Responsible for ensuring integrity in the balance sheet reconciliation process including a full understanding of the construct and any risks to the carrying balances Provide technical guidance and information to financial accounting staff, explain accounting transactions and ensure adherence to accounting standards and tax compliance

Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and updated forecasts as well as input to the longer-term financial plan Provide commentary and insight on financial performance against budgets and targets

Audit, Risk and Compliance: Support the Group Financial Accountants and oversee the preparation of consolidated accounts.
