There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our Head Office located in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking to recruit an Executive PA on a fixed term basis (12 months) to cover maternity leave commencing in December 2019. The Role The Executive PA supports the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Group General Counsel and Company Secretary. In addition to this, the Executive PA manages the reception and administration team and is responsible for facilities management for the office. Principle accountabilities of the Executive PA role include: Support the CEO and Group General Counsel and Company Secretary with PA duties such as diary management, booking travel/accommodation, expense claims, producing letters, memos, reports, spreadsheets and general administration. Liaise with 22 Divisional Managing Director’s PA to book Divisional board visits and meetings. Coordinate the circulation of Divisional board packs. Support and assist with the office move planned to take place in summer 2020. Arrange lunch orders in preparation for meetings and grocery orders for the office as and when required. Organise events and corporate hospitality. Deal with and manage the cleaning and security contracts for the office. Arrange repairs and maintenance for the office through contractors as required. Provide reception cover for lunch, breaks and holiday periods where required. Experience, Qualifications and Skills Experience Experience of working as an Executive PA within a large business. Qualifications and Training GCSE Maths and English – Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) Skills and Aptitude Good administration skills Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work independently, remaining focused and motivated Good attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality. A ‘can do’ positive attitude IT literate, with the confidence to learn new systems quickly and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
