A really exciting opportunity to work as a extrusion operator in a rewarding industry for a well known plastics manufacturing company.
Net Temps are working with a plastics manufacturer in Burnley (BB11) to start ASAP as an extrusion operator.
Please see below for extrusion operator duties:
- Manufacture to customer specifications
- Carry out regular quality checks
- Monitor product quality and rectify line faults.
- Record machine settings as per process quality plan
- Communicate efficiently
- FLT preferred but not essential
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating plastic extrusion machinery
Pay:
- £13.78 per hour (£15.44ph with holiday pay)
Hours
- Rotational shift pattern - 6am till 2pm / 12pm till 8pm / 8pm till 6am
- 8pm-6am is Monday to Thursday
- 6am-2pm/ 12pm-8pm is Monday to Friday
- Must be open to doing all shifts
Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviour requirements
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment or similar role
- Understanding of Health and Safety
- Good Communicator
- Good attitude to work
