Our client is a National M&E company, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabric Project Manager. You will be a key contributor to the development and implementation of smart space strategy. Lead and manage delivery of projects in line with operational, HSEQ and commercial objectives. Supporting the development of existing and new client base and supply chain to fit the Smart Space strategy deliver companies management expectations managing and supporting direct reports to meet and exceed performance targets

Duties

Ensure the effective management and execution of Company policies and procedures, which include H&S/Quality Assurance in the delivery of projects.

Overall responsibility for all assigned project deliverables including but not limited to hardware, financial and commercial outputs, dispute management, customer satisfaction and on time delivery.

To lead, motivate and develop site-based teams.

Overall responsibility for assigned project profitability, debt and WIP accountability.

To understand contractual obligations to manage risk accordingly.

Ensuring that timely client and internal meetings are arranged and all relevant project handover documentation is completed and distributed to relevant personnel.

Developing and maintaining relationships and interfaces with other key functions within the company and to support supervision to drive all aspects of Engineering, Procurement and Production.

Develop and Maintain strong Customer relationships and suppliers in order to reduce commercial risk and to maximize future business opportunities.

Liaison and control of project management/supervision, to confirm that they are complying with the Company's policies and procedures, which include but are not limited to

H&S/Quality Assurance /British Standards and UK codes of practice.

To bring added value and innovation to the Smart Space strategy & Project Delivery

Gain new business through the existing Client base, e.g. additional core business contracts; extra project works, total facilities opportunities.

Preparation of operational and managerial reports.

Training, development, appraisals and professional support of direct reports.

Knowledge & Qualifications

Be able to be a key player in the development of Smart Space strategy, offering innovative ideas and solutions and taking ownership of operational matters.

At least 5 years previous experience of delivering fabric, property and office fit out projects.

Proven successful experience in project management delivery.

Proven experience and knowledge in building construction techniques, design development process, current industry trends and innovation.

High level of building fabric and M&E technical knowledge

Be fully conversant with current Health & Safety legislations and safe working practices

Strong commercial, financial and risk management awareness

Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills

High level of self-motivation and organisational ability.

Excellent people management skills with the ability to develop and build upon relationships with clients, colleagues and supply chain.

Practical knowledge of Microsoft packages - Word, Excel, Outlook etc

Desirable

Membership to the Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH) or equivalent
