Role: Envelope / Façade Engineer

Location: Ireland

Salary: Negotiable DOE

Our client are currently recruiting for a Envelope/Façade Engineer to join their team.

Requirements:

  • MSc in Façade Engineering.
  • 5-10yrs experience specifically with delivering Envelopes.
  • Degree in Architecture / Architectural Technology would be a bonus.
  • Roofing and Cladding, rainscreens and glazing experience required.
  • Must have produced "For Construction" drawings Envelope details and drawings for installation and manufacturing. (Evidence via a portfolio would be required).
  • Have experience in the contractual and commercial aspects of Envelope delivery (Recognising value engineering opportunities).

Role:

  • Full technical project management for various Envelope projects
  • Technical Project team management
  • Submittal management
  • Design management including managing all aspects of the envelope delivery
  • Managing and assisting in the production of all drawings and detail production for Construction Stage
  • Management of the scheduling and ordering of materials
  • Reviewing structural steel and coordinating requirements with the project team.
  • Managing and coordinating required calculations and design requirements
  • Creating design delivery programmes
  • Coordinating with the in house BIM teams
  • Advising and coordinating with site teams where necessary for the install
  • Liaising with company senior management and directors for contract tracking and reporting.
