An exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager working for a main contractor has come up in the Birmingham area. Working from the head office in Birmingham you will have three main roles: assisting with facilities, fleet and PPE distribution. The role will be primarily based in the Birmingham head office, but will require weekly travel to the satellite office in Buckinghamshire.

Duties:

  • Inputting of goods received notes for all materials, plant.
  • Checking and maintaining stock materials and consumables with the stores and vehicles - ensuring all items are located in the correct bays clearly marked and secure.
  • Delivering PPE stores to operational Depots
  • Procurement of materials tools and PPE
  • Running and logging of fleet vehicles
  • Ensuring appropriate resources are in place to support satellite offices
  • Responding to emergency office issues outside of working hours eg. Security alarm issues
  • Management of all soft services i.e. security, cleaning, photocopiers, stationery etc. for all London offices
  • Allocation and distribution of hardware

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Organisation and planning skills
  • Familiar with computer inputting / stock control.
  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Experience of people management
