Field Performance Manager

Location: Kings Lynn

Contract: Anglian Water


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages a team of direct and sub contract reinstatement resources to provide a safe, effective and efficient delivery model to meet demand.
  • Manages reinstatement operations to meet performance against KPI's
  • Manages reinstatement operations to deliver a positive customer experience
  • Aid in the ideation and implementation of Reinstatement strategies.
  • Responsible for the co-ordination of photograph compliance for reinstatement.
  • Co-ordination of site inspections.
  • Ensure all employees are up to date of any changes to, and the cost implications of non- compliance of, the NRSWA legislation.
  • Represent the Team and Alliance members in council / client and internal meetings.
  • Build effective relationships with Street Authority Inspectors
  • Assist to manage the sub-contractor process and legacy works.
  • Works with the SHEQ team and Line Manager to provide a working environment where safety is key consideration above all else
  • Supports the Reinstatement Manager for reinstatement NRSWA compliance within the area.
  • Drives quality improvements to ensure NRSWA compliance within KPI's
  • Monitors resource numbers to support the Reinstatement Support Manager in ensuring we have right levels to meet demands efficiently
  • Work with Line Manager and the Commercial team to understand spend against budget and identify areas to drive cost reduction
  • Monitor material quality and address issues with suppliers through effective relationship management
  • Monitor and record the 1st time perm ratio to ensure compliance against targets.
  • Manages defect and coring processes and disputes with highways
  • Manages S81 defective apparatus process and disputes
  • Manage defects to prevent repeat inspection costs
  • Support Street Works team with root cause processes
  • Identify and implement training needs for reinstatement team
  • Engage with suppliers on new / current materials and share best practices for the Alliances
  • Deliver regular Toolbox and safety talks
  • Conduct regular safety and reinstatement quality audits
  • Coordinate workforce as directed by planning function
  • Monitor/assess & provide constructive feedback on teams performance
  • Mitigating risks (Section 74, FPNs and Category A,B and C)
  • Work to smarter end to end process with reinstatement to reduce road occupation
  • Supports Line Manager on environment and sustainability / recycling initiatives

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership demonstrating excellent communication and negotiation skills at all levels for buy in and engagement
  • Strong organisational and facilitation skills
  • Ability to manage a multi-function reinstatement team to deliver a quality service against demands
  • Ability to analyse and problem solve
  • Ability to build strong relations internally and externally
  • Excellent reinstatement procedure and tactical knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
Essential
  • Working knowledge of NRSWA, SROH, WRAP legislation and initiatives
  • NRSWA Qualification
  • A Level or equivalent qualification
  • Full Driving Licence
Desirable
  • IT skills, MS Office
