Summary

The role of Field Sales Manager is responsible for, leading a team which is committed and highly effective, maximising revenue opportunities whilst working collaboratively within the regional sales remit, Head of Sales/Sales Director and other regional functions to deliver the required operational performance and customer experience to meet the Region's business plan and future growth requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the sales manager assisting and deputizing when required
  • Ensuring Sales Executives keep close contact with new and existing customers
  • Update weekly sales reports and coins rolling forecast as required
  • Ensure sales staff chase through reservations to exchange and completion
  • Answer enquiries raised by Solicitors and customers
  • Liaise with construction regarding CML and move in dates
  • Motivating the Sales Team
  • Develop relationships with Estate Agents and nominated Solicitors
  • Assist in the training of Sales Executives
  • Liaise with marketing department on advertising, events, and lead feedback
  • Attend marketing planning meetings
  • Liaise with signage and graphics companies regarding site requirements
  • Assist in new site set up

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven track record in sales and sales management with an ability to inspire others to achieve high levels of sales success and customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of using data and insight to complete needs analysis to drive operational strategies
  • Good coaching skills for developing sales excellence and undertaking career development conversations
  • Able to balance multiple priorities within a fast-changing and demanding environment.
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • A good knowledge of the Construction Industry and a broad understanding of the legal framework, mortgage market and financial implications of the methods and sequences of build
  • Demonstratable knowledge of the property market and competitor activity
