This is a great opportunity for a Field Service Engineer based from Leicester commutable from Leicester, Coventry, Derby, Nottingham, Birmingham, Hinckley, Loughborough, Rugby, Northampton, Kettering, Market Harborough, Corby, Grantham
that will involve some travel in the UK & Ireland, and some overnight stays
Paying £ competitive salary (depending on level of experience), + car + bonus working for a leading, established, international manufacturer within the commercial vehicle industry.

The successful Field Service Engineer will be working for an employer who:

The Role
This challenging and varied Field Service Engineer role will be approx 50% office based and 50% field based; you will be liasing with customers both over the phone and face to face regarding technical issues, investigating problems / root cause, and making diagnosis. The role is very customer focused so the ability to communicate with people in a concise manner at all levels is essential. Duties will be varied from providing equipment specifications pre-sale to trouble shooting problems on equipment out in the field.
The Candidate
As the successful Field Service Engineer you should ideally have a HNC qualification or equivalent in an engineering discipline; strong mechanical engineering and diagnostic skills; and fantastic people skills for this customer focused trouble shooting role. Any experience of vehicles, or of working in a vehicle repair workshop would be advantageous; as would any electrical skills.
