Finance Administrator Part-time, Permanent Role overview

Breedon is currently seeking a part-time Finance Administrator to work 3 days a week, based at Hope Cement Works in Derbyshire. You will be responsible for the cash sales reconciliation and allocation process, as well as providing cover for the Assistant Accountant.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Match and allocate invoices and credits, with payments and refunds on all cement cash accounts
  • Investigate different information sources and systems, to establish an audit trail for each allocation
  • Liaise with internal departments (customer service team, customer service administrator) to resolve any queries as necessary
  • Reconcile cash accounts, by customer, weekly and monthly
  • Producing a monthly statement balance by customer of any refunds due, confirming these with customer services and credit control, obtaining the necessary approval prior to these being issued by the relevant department
  • Run Daily Sales Volume Report
  • Process Goods Delivery Tickets
  • Enter into files, Materials Database and Findocs (Purchasing System)
