We're looking for a Finance Administrator to join our Highways team based in Northamptonshire. Responsibilities

As Finance Administrator, you'll be working within the business services team, supporting them in financial administration of highways maintenance contracts including cost capture and procurement and ensuring compliance with parent company financial procedures and all aspects of commercial and financial performance of the highway maintenance contracts we undertake for 2 local authority clients (North and West Northamptonshire Highways).

Your day to day will include:

  • Reviewing and approving orders in Kier's financial systems and raise payments by purchase card
  • Raising requisitions for supplier orders for materials and plant including cheque requests
  • Entering goods received notes into the financial system
  • Liaising with project teams who are responsible for delivering the works to our clients and Kier shared services including responding to queries
  • Providing information for external and internal auditors, complying with Kier's deadlines

  • Use Microsoft office applications and financial systems effectively
  • Work with numbers and reports accordingly
  • Be a team player and work individually delivering tasks to tight timescales
