Kier Infrastructure are currently recruiting for an ambitious and well-rounded Finance Analyst to join our fast-paced finance function. This role reports to the Financial Controller and will have exposure across the business, finance team, influencing and understanding the direction of our numbers with a specific focus on cash.
We are looking for an individual who is very keen to progress, bring their own insight and experience to the role and has a desire to drive improvements. The individual is likely to be part qualified but keen to qualify, with the support of Kier.
Job Responsibilities
In this exciting Finance Analyst role, you'll drive the timeline and submission of the weekly consolidation process of the divisions cash figures. The role involves exposure to our commercial teams working closely with them as a business partner to understand and forecast their requirements. You'll assist in the review of weekly figures and submissions of budgets and forecasts and lead the process of reviewing quarterly cash forecasts. You'll also prepare monthly cash flow analysis and perform ad-hoc analysis supporting the Finance Director.
What do we need from you?
We're looking for an ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified, or part qualified accountant with previous experience of challenging and developing new processes. A confident self-starter with business partnering experience who can easily build positive relationships with senior finance, commercial and project teams. You'll have an Advanced ability level with Excel and good computer skills. Previous experience within the construction industry and Oracle experience is preferable.
