We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, working on projects such as Hinkley Point and Mogden Sewage Treatment Works.

We are now recruiting for a Finance Manager to join our Kier Infrastructure Major Projects team in Rushden to be support the Finance Centre and present the business unit forecast, including its associated risk and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

In this exciting Finance Manager role, you will strive to optimise the profit and cash profile of the business unit, while strictly adhering to the accounting policies of the group to avoid overtrading or audit risk. You will understand the group pressures and have a range of operational and financial levers/relationships across the group that will enable us to optimise the Business Unit. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the accurate reporting of month end, as well as having the ability to test the business and convey, where required, corrective actions. Working closely with the Business Partners, you will ensure the accurate reporting of the contracts and gross margins, including the correct reporting of the overheads to establish full profits and losses.


What do we need from you?

We are looking for an experienced team player within multi-functional teams who has an analytical approach. You will be experienced in managing different stakeholders, as well as open to new ways of working. The Finance Manager will be flexible under pressure, accepting of tight deadlines, enthusiastic and motivated within their work. You will need to be computer literate and a fully qualified finance professional. Experience of Oracle, Causeway Hyperion and Smartview desirable.
