We are seeking a
Finance Manager - Treasury to join our Head Office team in York, concentrating on the treasury management of the business. As part of the Finance team, you will be working in a positive environment where personal development is encouraged, creating career opportunities and a driven team.
As our next
Finance Manager - Treasury you'll be instrumental in supporting the finance function. Your remit will be to support the team and ensure the company operates with integrity within the guidelines set by the Portakabin Group.
You will provide day-to-day treasury management and work as part of the team responsible for cash management, reporting, forecasting, cash controls, bank administration and payments. You will also be responsible for leading Treasury related projects.
As a Treasury Manager, you will:
* Work closely with the business to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of daily and monthly cash reporting and forecasting.
* Ensure that regular funding requirements and the related interest costs are managed appropriately.
* Assist the business in minimising financial risk, including monitoring controls to avoid fraud.
* Oversee the daily and monthly reporting of cash and other treasury matters.
* Work with the central finance team and the Commercial Business Units with regard to local liquidity management.
* Ensure appropriate authorisation levels are in place and are effective including monitoring of on-line authority levels and bank mandates.
* Support the completion of routine bank correspondence and the maintenance of a good working relationship with our banking partners.
* Review bank charges and processes in place to ensure those procedures are cost effective and appropriately secure.
* Work with the wider Finance team to support a number of ongoing projects

Our ideal candidate
* Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail
* Strong IT skills (notably excellent basic Excel)
* Experience of on-line corporate banking systems is desirable
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at different levels within the organisation
* Experience of treasury accounting, liquidity management, cashflow forecasting and monitoring of treasury controls is desirable
