Location: South East London

We are seeking a skilled and motivated FRA Engineer to join our Reactive Maintenance Team. This is a full-time permanent role covering London and surrounding counties, with core working hours of Monday to Friday,

08:00-17:00

You will work across a variety of domestic and commercial properties primarily within social housing and local authority sectors, carrying out surveys, installations, commissioning and remedial works identified from Fire Risk Assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, modify, and commission Grade D domestic fire detection systems.
  • Install and commission emergency lighting systems.
  • Complete remedial works based on Fire Risk Assessment findings.
  • Complete commissioning certificates accurately and in accordance with standards.
  • Cover reactive works where necessary
  • Document all work clearly and promptly using the Oneserve mobile application.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of the electrical industry, including building regulations
  • Understanding of Health & Safety requirements
  • Ability to install and commission Grade D fire detection and emergency lighting systems
  • Experience working from mobile devices to complete electronic job sheets
  • Good practical and diagnostic skills
  • Strong organisation and planning abilities
  • Clear communication with customers and colleagues
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and strong timekeeping
  • A supportive, team-first mindset

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-18)
  • City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent - Desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
