Fire alarm engineer
An Electrical Service and Maintenance contractor that has been successfully maintaining properties for nearly 30 years. Have a requirement for a fire alarm engineer to help them deliver the tailor-made service they are known for. They have a wide range of clients, from private residential homes to entire estates of commercial and residential buildings. The team of engineers are fully trained to industry standards with several managers who have progressed from our engineering staff. they are a very close-knit team with years of experience between them.
The Fire alarm Engineer will receive £36,000 -£40000 per annum + 20 days holiday plus bank holidays + Van + benefits.
As a Fire alarm engineer you will:
- As a fire alarm engineer you will Carry out servicing and repairs on addressable & conventional fire alarm systems, AOV's and Emergency Lighting.
- As a fire alarm engineer you will carry out yearly and quarterly inspections on AOV's and Fire alarms.
- As a fire alarm engineer you will be able to find faults and recommend remedial actions and carry out repairs to AOV motors and controls.
- As a fire alarm engineer you will be on a 1 in 12 callout rota 4 hours minimum per callout.
- As a fire alarm engineer you will receive up to £40,000 per annum + 20 days holiday plus bank holidays + Van + benefits.
The Successful Fire alarm Engineer will have:
- 18th edition and NVQ level 3 qualified are required.
- Experience working with Gent panels.
- Required to have the expertise and experience to service, determine faults and provide solutions on fire alarm and AOV systems.
- 2391 and experience with SE Controls products is a bonus.
- The ideal candidate will have worked across a variety of different equipment with a strong commercial background.
