Position: Fire Door Carpenter
Location: Wolverhampton
Rate: £190 - £200 per day
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Door Carpenter to join our team in Wolverhampton. As a Fire Door Carpenter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire doors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair fire doors and associated fixtures
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and standards
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of fire doors
- Provide expert advice on fire door safety and compliance
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fire Door Carpenter
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry or equivalent qualification
- Comprehensive knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Valid CSCS card
- Own tools and reliable transport
