You will be working for a large Social Housing organisation giving you an ideal opportunity to enhance your career and CV
Job Role
You will be responsible for managing the delivery of compliance programs for specific high risk areas and remedial actions.
You will identify and develop capital programmes of work, by liaising with client repairs contractors and sub contractors, supplying Fire Safety related capitol work streams, ensuring all fire safety data from the remedial actions are recorded when complete.
You will be required to analyse high volume building related data, codify it and translate it into a building / construction related project.
You will act as principle contract for fire support and advice.
You will be required to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders in relation to fire safety eg Fire service, fire risk assessors, building contractors, residents and health and safety specialists.
Person
You will have a fire engineering qualification and have a HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
You will have excellent Excel skills and be computer literate.
You must have project management experience in construction / social housing industry with a minimum 2 years in a similar role
You will have experience of managing multiple contract streams and managing budgets.
You will have recent experience in planned maintenance, planning data and planning investments.
You will have an ability to develop clear and concise reports and explain problems and outline solutions.
An ability to monitor spend and flag any concerns to the senior budget holder is essential.
You must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle as you will be required to travel around East Anglia with trips to London and Birmingham on occasions.
