We are currently supporting a client in their search for a freelance Site Manager working on the passive fire stopping contract. This role will be based at 1 site. This role is to start Monday 27th February and will run for at least 6 weeks with other work in the pipeline. The manager must have experience working on fire door projects.
Reporting to the Contract Manager, as Site Manager you will take full responsibility for the Site Activities which will include:
- Delivering all Construction activities in line with Health & Safety policies
- Working in line with Building Reg standards and processes
- Coordinating direct (Operatives) and indirect (Subcontractor) personnel
- Lead and deliver against project programme for key milestones
- Ensuring high quality records / reports / paperwork are maintained and completed in a timely fashion
- Deliver a high quality product
- Regular liaison and site updates with the Contracts Manager
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a previous and successful track record within the passive fire sector. Key qualifications will include:
- 5 day SMSTS
- First Aid Certificate
- NVQ
- Ability to use IT systems
- Up to date knowledge of Building Regs / Health & Safety process and legislation
